Description

La barre d'état permet de visualiser facilement des informations utiles générales au sujet de la session aMule en cours.

Elle est positionnée en bas de la fenêtre principale et ressemble à ceci :

Utilisation

La barre d'état est divisée en plusieurs sections :

Journal

Vous pouvez voir la dernière ligne écrite dans le journal dans la partie la plus à gauche de la barre d'état :

La ligne pourrait n'être affichée que partiellement si elle est plus large que l'espace à disposition dans la barre d'état. Dans ce cas, vous trouverez utile de cliquer sur le bouton d'information situé juste à côté du texte.

Lorsque vous cliquez dessus, une fenêtre surgit et affiche la ligne complète.

Utilisateurs

aMule essaie de calculer le nombre d'utilisateurs actuellement connectés aux réseaux auxquels il est connecté.

Le premier nombre du champ Utilisateurs correspond au nombre estimé d'utilisateurs actuellement connectés au réseau ed2k.

Le second nombre de ce champ correspond au nombre estimé d'utilisateurs connectés au réseau Kademlia.

Les lettres suivantes spécifient le coefficient multiplicateur à la fois pour les nombres ed2k et Kad :

Fichiers

aMule essaie aussi de calculer le nombre de fichiers actuellement disponibles sur les réseaux auxquels il est connecté.

Comme précédemment, le premier nombre du champ Fichiers correspond au nombre estimé de fichiers actuellement disponibles sur le réseau ed2k.

Et à nouveau, le second nombre de ce champ correspond au nombre estimé de fichiers actuellement disponibles sur le réseau Kademlia.

Comme pour le champ Utilisateurs, la dernière lettre indique le coefficient multiplicateur (voir ci-dessus pour la correspondance entre lettres et coefficients multiplicateurs).

Vitesse

The statusbar provides a handy way to know the bandwidth aMule is effectively taking.

First it has a graphic which displays two arrows surrounding a globe provides a brief summary of the connection status. The downwards arrow will be green when aMule is downloading and red when it isn't. The upwards arrow will be green when aMule is uploading and red when it isn't.

Right by the connections status icon the upload and download speeds are displayed.

In the Up field you can see the upload speed it is performing.

In the Down field you can see at what speed aMule is downloading.

If you have enabled "Show overhead bandwidth" in Preferences, then a number in brackets will appear both by the upload and download speed numbers. This numbers show the bandwidth that the overhead traffic (connections, pings, control traffic, ...) are taking for the uploads and downloads respectively.

Networks

The last field shows information about the networks status.

If you are connected to the ed2k network, you will be able to see the name (or IP if it has no known name) of the ed2k server you are connected to.

If you are not connected to the ed2k network, they you will see Not connected or Connecting if you are trying to connect.

Now about the Kademlia network, you should see its status by the Kad text.

A very special icon in the statusbar is the earth icon:

The arrows in this globe change their colour depending on the connection status of aMule.

The lower-left arrow refers to the ed2k network:

Colour Meaning
Red Offline, not connected
Orange Connecting
Yellow Connected but firewalled
