The most current version of the Windows installer is aMule 2.0.2.
Download: from the download page
There is an ANSI and a Unicode version of the installer, the first is for all Windows versions, the latter is for Windows XP/NT/2000 only.
This installer contains:
- aMule 2.0.2
- wxCas
- alc (aLinkCreator)
- The ed2k utility (For sending ed2k:// links to aMule)
This installer does not contain:
- aMuleGUI (Not working on Windows at the moment)
- aMule daemon (Untested)
- command-line tools (amulecmd, amuleweb, cas, alcc) (command-line for Windows?)
- alcc (aLinkCreatorConsole)
- aMuleCMD and aMuleCMDDLG (Untested)
- aMuleWeb and aMuleWebDLG (Untested)
- Other minor utilities and scripts (Not useful on Windows platforms)
The Windows installer is under development and should not be considered stable at this time. Please feel free to report bugs, ask questions, etc, in the aMule forums.
For those of you that don't want to use the Windows Installer, you can always use the bleeding edge version of aMule from CVS. Learn how to compile aMule from source on Windows. ansi
