This page is an index to the available howtos about compiling aMule in different Linux distros and other Operative Systems.

From scratch

The main compilation howto from scratch, non-distro dependent (only case that it won't work is in Microsoft Windows), which will guide you through the whole compilation process, is the follwing:

Linux

Guides are also available for the following Linux distros (will use the distro's packages instead of compiling them too):

BSD

A guide for FreeBSD (and other *BSD OSs) users is also available:

MacOS X

The up-coming MacOS X aMule can be compiled following this guide:

Microsoft Windows

All though aMule is currently not supporting Microsoft Windows Operative System, you can work on it and test it's current development status following this guide:
