Since 14th March 2005 there is a spec file in the aMule CVS tarball, so that you can easily generate an RPM.

It works like this:

  1. Download the latest aMule CVS tarball. It Must be the aMule CVS tarball of the same day, these RPMs can only be built on the same day you download them.
  2. Run: rpmbuild -ta aMule-CVS-tarball.tar.bz2
  3. There you are, you have a brand new aMule CVS tarball RPM to test the latest and greatest aMule!

Notice that you must be familiar with RPM generation and you must have everything required to compile aMule previously installed in your system.

Enjoy!
