Ok. I started to put it under the "development" section as that probably seems to most fix the Windows installer/source..

Latest revision as of 02:10, 1 June 2005

Before this goes live, is there anything that's missing? Any dependancies? Is this installer development or can it be considered "stable"? --Ateo

In fact, Windows platform is not supported at all ;-) I mean, it is not OFFICIALLY supported. Reasons? I can tell you on private :-P So, "stable"? not officially. It has bugs as far as I've seen. Not outstanding ones, but some exist. About dependencies... I guess the installer already installs wx libs since, for me, it worked Out-of-the-box (c).

In fact, I didn't even notice it only worked for Windows >= 2000

But anyway, you don't have to worry about the content being totally right. You can just put it there, and along it's life time, it will be modified to suit the real needs and questions and problems and ...

So let's make it goe live ;-)

BTW; remember to add a link in both "compile on windows" article and "windows binnary" article between each other.
