First add PLF sources to your software manager using URPMI http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ . Select your version and &lt;br /&gt;
architecture. Select mirrors for each source you want. I recommend to add main and contrib, and their updates sources. And add a source for &amp;quot;Penguin Liberation Front&amp;quot;. PLF-free contains aMule 2.1.13. Then in root shell type:&lt;br /&gt;

 ~# urpmi amule&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
